Love a good trivia battle?

Microsoft partnered with Disney to support the launch of the Disney+ streaming service. This meant a robust multiplayer game in the front window of Microsoft Stores, using Microsoft devices, for up to 10 players connecting on their phones.

A playful discovery phase

Concepting, wireframing, testing, and finally playing this experience was a blast. I tested out comparable software, gathered requirements, and distilled-down a fluid and fun game flow.

Tested for any device

The features and content are fine-tuned for mobile and large displays, with a great deal of contextual feedback in the UI to enhance the experience. Custom animation sequences and sound effects were created to make it as immersive as possible.

Expanding to a limitless framework

After the resounding success of the the app with Disney+, I worked to create a rich backend system to allow for easy game creation and maintenance no matter what the partnership or topic. Animations, color palettes, graphics, text, and promoted content can all be precisely controlled. Want a new trivia game for Xbox, Surface, or Microsoft history? No problem! I also enhanced the mobile experience based on data from the initial launch.
