Adoption social platform
Client: PairTree
Role: Product designer (UX, research, writing)
Collaboration: Pairing with another designer, working with client leadership.
Overview
To help this adoption matching startup improve their product and launch a mobile app, I provided comprehensive research before executing design. I interviewed a wide range of users and stakeholders that resulted in a set of user journey maps. These informed the architecture and wireflows of the new app. It was effective to understand user and business needs before getting too far into design.
Results
The foundational research and structural design work allowed PairTree to successfully launch their mobile app on schedule. The resulting system is different from similar projects because it is built around empathy for birth moms, an often overlooked user group. This project was especially enjoyable, and PairTree praised my approach as “unflappable”.
